"Accept the challenges so you can feel the exhilaration of victory"
"Aileen-love your positive attitude! You are a great motivator."
"This is one of the best bootcamps I have attended! What makes Mad Mama's Bootcamp different is the Nutrition that is also integrated with the total body workouts. I loved the workouts and instruction! Thanks for keeping me coming back for more!!"
"I loved this bootcamp..It was exactly what I needed!!! The options of 100% intensity and then other less intense options were great.. I loved that I almost never felt like I was holding the group back in the workout!"
"I can honestly say that I was very impressed with the variety of the workouts. Everyone was different and I don't think there was a "dud" day in the bunch. At the end of the workouts,I always felt that it was worth getting up for. I felt a little sore after many of the workouts, which shows me I'm working things in ways that I don't normally. "
"I loved all of it and look forward to continuing with you. "
"Thanks for the great workout!!! Can't believe I finished it!!! I
know now that I need "group" workouts...I feel more motivated to
complete the workout when there are other people there pushing me
along...Thanks for pushing me!!!"
"The online counseling virtual session with Aileen. Aileen's
motivation can inspire you from coast to coast. I tried the nutrition
detox plan with Aileen and it definately put me on track. The goals
were attainable and the nutrition plan is doable. You just have to
put your mind to it and get organized. It's all about learning about
yourself and getting your body to work as a machine. Aileen provides
the support that you need and the direction to help you carry out your
goals. She builds a relationship with you that will jump start your
nutrition concerns and helps you carry out these life changing goals
and that "can do it" attitude. This helped me to see what I am
putting into my body as well as my kids. Raw food is the way to go!"
I started Aileen's Mad Mamas Bootcamp during the toughest time of the year. It was during November 2010, hence one of the coldest time of the year and right before the holidays. Having battled high cholesterol since college,I knew it was necessary and with 3 kids under 7, it was almost impossible to work out at home without my kids distracting me. When I started boot camp, I was close to 150 pounds. In the beginning, I told myself, I'll try boot camp for a month since there is no way that I'm waking up at 5am. My pants size went from a 12 to a 10 and eventually I was able to get myself into skinny jeans without having to lay down while pulling up my pants and no longer did I have to suck in my stomach so a month turned into 2 months and then 3 months and so on. It's been 15 months and I'm still waking up at 5am and I'll have to admit, it's still tough some days to wake up but once I get to boot camp and see other mom's there, I'm happy that I have a group of supportive mom's' who all want to get stronger together. I love working out with the mamas and Aileen varies the exercises so you never feel that your muscles aren't worked enough. Aileen is aware of each mama's strength and capabilities so she's great with modifying the routines so you never feel that you can't keep up or you are slowing the group down. At the start of the class, I could barely speed walk a mile and now I'm training for a 1/2 marathon and I'm so excited to say I lost over 40 pounds!
